Come alive to your body – reconnect with your heart and soul
“Reach the parts” that talking therapies haven’t reached
Live your emotional potential . . .

Radix (root or source) is the vital energy or force whose flow is disrupted by the body armour.

For more than twenty five years,  London Radix Workshops have been providing an Education in Feeling, and engagement with the emotional intelligence, not only of heart and head, but of the whole living body. Led by Michael Randolph and Michael Gavin, inspired by Wilhelm Reich and Charles Kelly, the workshops include work in the group, in pairs and in individual intensives within the group. We work with all aspects of movement and feeling with a particular focus on breathing and vision. Our aim is to connect with what is real and alive within, and to enable you to release it and to release yourself and your potential.

Charles Kelley, developed the unique Radix Intensive as ” an adventure in feeling, an expansion of awareness, an opening of consciousness … The goal is growth in the capacity to experience and express deep feeling, to connect up with oneself and to contact others …”

Rob McIntosh

I have benefited greatly by attending workshops with the Michaels. I am always surprised at where I end up in Radix, like a homecoming to my self. I am about to complete the ERT training, and couldn’t resist the perfect marriage of Radix and Unstone Grange! I’m very pleased to get the two Michaels to agree to run a workshop here.

Practicalities

Workshop times are 7 – 9.30 on Friday, 9.30am – 9pm Saturday, and 9.30 – 5 on Sunday. Each participant will get two intensive sessions over the weekend, one with each Michael. There will be a maximum of 10 people.

There will be hot soup provided from 5.00 on the Friday night. Food for the weekend will be provided for self catering, and I am happy to prepare some simple food on Saturday, and Sunday (volunteer assistants welcome!). There will be museli, bread, fruit, etc all the time, as well as lots of tea and biscuits all weekend! There are also several good pubs nearby, and beautiful walks and scenery.

There are ten bedrooms, which sleeps up to 36 people, so there is lots of room. There will inevitably be some sharing, but if you must have your own room, please let me know, or you are welcome to camp in the grounds, (no camping discount, sorry!). There will be sheets provided, but please bring your own towel, and any home comforts you might need. There will also be a bonfire on the Saturday night, weather permitting.

Please use the form below to pay by Paypal, (clicking ‘submit’ will take you to Paypal to complete your payment), and I will be in touch to confirm. Or pay by cheque, (click here for address details). You are welcome to pay the full amount (£375), or £100 deposit to secure a place. These workshops do tend to get oversubscribed, but there will be a waiting list in case of cancellations. Chances are I will be able to refund your deposit if there are other takers.
