Welcome

Welcome to my counselling practice. I am an accredited member of the BACP, and my approach is embodied, relational, experiential. I aim to welcome everything about you, meet your more fully in relationship, and create a safe space for whatever you need to explore, such as…

    •    anxiety
    •    depression
    •    trauma or overwhelm
    •    relationship problems
    •    sexuality
    •    identity and meaning
    •    suicidal feelings
    •    stress or anger
    •    affects of abuse
    •    bereavement
    •    spiritual emergency

Most of my work is online, as I spend my time between Lithuania and Mid Wales, but I find that working online is effective for many clients. I aim to offer a safe space to meet once a week, but it is really the emotional space that is important. My aim is to stay present and witness what you bring, so that together we can explore what needs to unfold to encourage healing. Everyone is unique: there are no formulas.

Experience

I’ve been practicing as a counsellor since 2005, and have 20+ years experience of consistently working through my own issues in a variety of settings, because it is my understanding that as a counsellor I can’t go with clients where I haven’t been myself. I consider this an essential part of what I can offer as a therapist.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic counselling and a post diploma award in psychotherapeutic counselling and embodied relational therapy, and continuing professional development certificates in subjects such as trauma therapy, developmental attachment and issues of separation and loss. I am an accredited member of the BACP, (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), UKRCP Registered, and involved in ongoing professional development.

Please look around and get in touch if you would like to meet and explore further.
